TYAN Double Density 1U.
The GT24-B5377 is configured to supply Two nodes in 1U, deliver Higher Power Efficiency and significantly reduces IT space rental costs. The 1U Duplex reduces cost by providing higher power efficiency. The placement of two nodes in 1U also reduces your chassis, power supply, and rack cost.
Using LGA771 Xeon LV CPU (40W for DC & 50W for QC) offer same computing power with almost half of LGA775 CPU power consumption. Energy saving, and low down TCO. 8 DIMM per node up to 32 GB memory is an advantage vs. LGA775 platform 8GB memory capacity limitation. Each node supports one PCI-E x 16 expansion slot and has a SO-DIMM connector as an option for an IPMI 2.0 w/KVM over IP. Each node can support up to two sata/sata2 disks with raid 0,1 configuration.
The solution is ideal for Web hosting; Data center/data farm; HPC computing cluster; search engine nodes; and high-availability applications.
