Windows Server 2008 R2

Windows Web Server 2008 R2 Edition was designed to be used as a single purpose internet facing web server that delivers rock solid foundation of infrastructure capabilities. It is integrated with the newly re-architected IIS 7.0, ASP.NET, and the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Linux installation

Sentral's software engineering team offers a bespoke service where we will install the Operating System that a customer specifies. That means we will be able to load any of the following Linux OS, Fedora, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu and OpenSUSE, under GNU General Public License when you purchase a new server from us:

LAMP support

A bundle of free software could provide a viable alternative to commercial packages and can help organisations to reduce their IT infrastructure costs. LAMP is a solution stack of software programs, commonly open-source programs, used together to run Web sites. Sentral can also load Linux, Apache web server, MySQL database management system and PHP language when you buy a server from us.

Your requirements

We will install operating systems according to your choice and your requirements. If you are unsure, our technical team will help you to choose the most suitable OS and software packages. Providing the preferred OS and hardware are compatible Sentral will be happy to install it for you. If you give us the network settings we will configure the server so you just have to plug it into your network.

You don't have to worry about Linux OS, drivers, ISO images, etc. any more as we will supply a ready-to-use server which will help with quick on-site installation.

Note: We will only be able to install the OS when the exact version has been tested with the same hardware which the customer is going to buy. If this has not been tested at Sentral, our engineers will test in the lab and depending upon the outcome, we will install OS. For very new releases of SCSI/RAID card's and old version OS, there might be a compatibility issue which our engineers will discuss before we accept any order. Our service is for Operating Systems installation only and does not include ongoing software support.
